Baby Name Game Hint #14

Hint #14: He does not share a name with that of an apostle.

An apostle is one of the 12 that Jesus walked with and taught, and spent time with on a regular basis.

I am going to have to open up my Bible and read the crazy thing aren't I... AND go back and read all the clues again.

The undertone here is that Timothy is just a figment of someone's imagination.

Timothy is a very strong name, and a name I would most certainly consider naming my child. And, it could very well be his name... I just would hate to see you put all of your eggs in one basket, that's all!

Uh-oh - there goes Matthew - I might have to jump on the Timothy bandwagon! lol I'm going to have to do some brainstorming to come up with some new ideas - assuming of course, that Michael is also out because of his little reference in Numbers.

Ok - enough is enough. Lets go down a different path. I'm going with country songs with people names. My first would be a song by Johnny Cash - a boy named Sue. They call the wind Mariah. How about "brandy" Banjo Boy. Even though this isn't a song title - how about John, Paul, George and Ringo. Paul would also work for Paul Revere (and the raiders) This is just a sample of what is out there to chose from. So the challenge to other of Robyn's Bloggers - see what you come up with. This of course has no money to Rob and Robyn, but this anonymous Granma (could sure use $$ to buy myself a Christmas present.)

How about "Grandma Got Runover by A Reindeer"

Name the kid Rudolph...

Grandma got run over by a reindeer
Walking home from our house Christmas Eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me an' Grandpa, we believe.

She'd been drinking too much eggnog,
And we begged her not to go.
But she forgot her medication,
And she staggered out the door
into the snow.

When we found her Christmas morning,
At the scene of the attack
She had hoof prints on her forehead,
And incriminating Claus marks
on her back.

Grandma got run over by a reindeer
Walking home from our house Christmas Eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me an' Grandpa, we believe.

Now we're all so proud of Grandpa,
He's been taking this so well.
See him in there watching football,
Drinking beer and playing cards
with cousin Mel.

It's not Christmas without Grandma,
All the family's dressed in black.
And we just can't help but wonder
Should we open up her gifts
or send them back?

Grandma got run over by a reindeer
Walking home from our house Christmas Eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me an' Grandpa, we believe.

Now the goose is on the table
And the pudding made of fig
(ahhhhh!)
And the blue and silver candles,
That would just have matched the hair
in Grandma's wig.

I've warned all my friends and neighbours,
Better watch out for yourselves.
They should never give a license,
To a man who drives a sleigh
and plays with elves.

Sing it, Grandpa!

Grandma got run over by a reindeer
Walking home from our house Christmas Eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me an' Grandpa, we believe

Solomon

Grandpa,

I'm not sure that you should have posted a whole rendition of Grandma got ran over by a reindeer on my blog... but I'll let Grandma be the one to take that up with you :0)

I'm afraid that many of the names mentioned on here this morning will have already been eliminated by previous clues. Rudolph, George and Ringo are not Biblical names... at least not from the Bible I read!

KayLee, I'm glad to see you entered the game. His name has two or more different vowels though, so I'm afraid it can't be Solomon. Try again though, it's nice to get some fresh comments that don't have anything to do with reindeer or Beattles! :0)

Really, I love you all and thanks for playing!
