An emotional wreck!

My dear, sweet, perfect daughter has been a complete emotional wreck lately! She has had major melt-down after major melt-down over the last several days, leaving Rob and I questioning what's going on in her little world.

Too much sugar? Could be. We've had two birthday parties in the last two days...

Too many people? Probably. See above...

Too little sleep? Always an option...

Expanding thought process with limited vocabulary frustrating her? Yup...

Becoming independant? Unforunately...

Almost 3? Sure enough...

Anything changed? Not really... hmmm... Our lives aren't that different now then they were last week or even last month, so why the sudden constant mello-drama? Good question!

The good news is that she's been more of her sweet usual self today, so hopefully it was just a short stage? Maybe. Please tell me that's the case! Rob and I were scrutinizing our parenting, her schedule, her personality, her surroundings trying to grasp at anything we might be able to 'fix'. Something tells me it's not that easy just to 'fix' though. Bummer! It's only just the beginning!

My guess is she misses her Aunt Suzy, but what do I know. Ha ha. Weston started doing the same thing around the time he turned 3- and really hasn't stopped. The world ends when they can't have things their way. They are just testing their boundaries, figuring things out and becoming themselves. Plus, she's a girl! Good luck.

I was just going to say that she's a girl, but looks like Suzy beat me to it!!

Welcome to the 2's!! We thought we were going to get away with the "terrible two's" not being so bad... someone forgot to tell us that it can start as late as almost 3 and last... well, we'll see how long!

I swear little girls start getting PMS by age 3! (This coming from my experience teaching preschool last year).

I'm sure my boys were never like that or it could be that be that the memory truly has gone, but either way, know that God will bring it all to good! Hang in there!
