We arrived at Gate 13 just a few minutes later than planned, but still more than a half hour before the park opened. Apparently the book was spot on, because this is the view from the roped off area at the end of Main Street. We weren't the first people at the rope, but we still had a front row view of the park before it opened.
Ready, set, go!
Go where? I'll getcha wherever you need to go!
Our first ride was Dumbo. The name of the touring plan we used from the Unofficial Guide to Disneyland 2010 is Dumbo or Die in a Day. This is the plan recommended if you have young kids in your group.
Titus was so excited! I love the excitement in the air at Disneyland. Seeing the magic on my kids' faces is worth every penny!
TOON TOWN:
KayLee tried to get this to go off tons of times. She was quite proud of herself when it actually happened!
A special spot for our family. In honor of Mee Maw!
My favorite ride- Pirates of the Caribbean!
The cutest little boy in the whole universe!
Leeann didn't exactly love Indiana Jones--but her daddy did!
I'm glad I have 9 years until she turns 16... she's got a lot of learning left to do!
This is Leeann on Autopia.
And the boys on Autopia. Titus couldn't see over the wheel!
We were trying to catch 'snow' with Goofy after the castle lighting.
Our last picture of the day.
We actually decided to go back to our hotel even before the park closed at 8:00. We'd had quite a long, adventurous day, and we were all pretty much ready for bed. It's 10:15 right now and the rest of the crew has been asleep for almost 2 hours.
I'm still up though. Someone has to blog about the daily adventures! My memory is too short, I have to get these things written down right away or these memories might be lost forever!
Today was a crazy, wonderful day. We packed more into this one day than we have in several days worth of previous trips. I'm not sure if it was because it was a Wednesday and the lines were all really short (our longest wait time was maybe 20 minutes, but most lines were only 5-10 minutes). Or maybe it was because our kids are so much older? Maybe it's because Rob was diligent to lead us in following the touring plan? All of the above? Yeah... probably that one!

I loved the Indiana Jones ride, but it scared the bejeebers out of me the first time I rode it. The look on Robs and Leeann's face is priceless! Elisha looked over my shoulder at your pictures and oohed and aahhed about them. It looks like you guys are having a great time, what a wonderful holiday memory!
